Welcome to the Mustangs!

Mustang Baseball holds open evaluations each summer. Players are evaluated in 5 areas each for fielding, hitting, pitching, and athleticism. Evaluations are open to the public to give ball players an objective assessment of their current strengths and areas in need of improvement.

Mustang Baseball is a coaches charter structured organization. This means that each coach operates their own team and chooses how often they practice, play games, what level of competition they play, how they structure their team, and who plays on their team.

Some of our teams play games only in the Big League Summer League. Other teams play games in addition to the Big League schedule. And some teams play Big League, some travel games, and some tournaments.

Attending evaluations is not a guarantee of a roster spot. There are many factors that go into deciding if a player is a good fit for a team and if that team is a good fit for the player and their family.

If your player, and family, are offered a spot on a Mustang roster we encourage you to discuss with that coach how they intend to operate their roster and what the practice schedule and game schedule will be. One Mustang team might not be a good fit for you but another team might be the perfect fit.

Evaluations for the 2018 season have already occurred. There may be roster spots still open. If you are interested in finding out and possibly having a private evaluation please contact the age appropriate coach from the team pages.

Evaluations for the 2019 season will be held in early July, 2018 at Hilliard Municipal Fields. Check back here for specific fields and times as the dates get closer.
